Get involved

Joining is one Discord invite away.

Prospective members, freshmen included, and current USF students of every major are welcome. No robotics experience required: the teams are built around mentorship.

Discord is the club's home.

Announcements, team recruiting, and resources all live there. It's the fastest way to find your project team and meet the people already building.

Three steps

How joining works

No experience required and all majors are welcome. Every team is built around mentorship: upperclassmen who have shipped competition hardware teach the fundamentals as you go.

Come to a general body meeting

Meetings are the easiest way to meet the officers, see the project teams in person, and ask questions before you commit to anything.

When

General body meetings: day and time announced on Discord

Where

USF Tampa campus, Engineering complex (room posted per meeting)

Pick a project team

Join Lunabotics, the CARA quadruped, or the SoutheastCon hardware team. Every team takes new members with zero background, and mentorship from returning members is built into how each project runs.

Who it's for

Built for every USF student

Prospective members

Freshmen included. If you are curious about robotics and want hands-on experience, there is a place for you here starting day one, no prior coursework or project experience needed.

Current USF students

All majors are welcome, not just engineering. Project teams need mechanical design, software, electrical, and project management skills alike.
