Privacy Policy
How this website handles your information. Last updated August 2026.
The short version
We collect only what you type into our contact and sponsorship forms. We do not run advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we never sell or rent anyone's information.
What we collect
When you submit the contact or sponsorship form, we receive the name, email address, organization, and message you enter. That is the only personal information this site asks for. Browsing the site does not require an account and does not ask you for anything.
Officers who sign in to manage the site have their email address stored so the system can recognize them, along with a sign-in session stored in their browser.
Why we collect it
Only to reply to you. Sponsorship inquiries go to our officer team so they can follow up about partnering with the chapter, and general questions are answered by an officer. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Who can see it
Current chapter officers. Form submissions are stored in our database and are visible only to signed-in officers on our approved list.
Three service providers process data on our behalf: Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores the database and handles officer sign-in, and Mailgun delivers form submissions to our chapter inbox. Each has its own privacy policy. We share information with no one else.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay in our system until an officer deletes them, so we can keep track of ongoing conversations with prospective members and sponsors. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Photographs
Our gallery contains photographs taken at chapter events and work sessions, which may include members. If you appear in a photo and would like it taken down, email us and we will remove it. No questions asked.
Cookies
We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores your light or dark mode preference locally so the site does not flash the wrong theme, and that never leaves your device. Officers who sign in receive a session cookie, which is required for the admin area to work.
Students under 18
We run outreach with K-12 students, but this website is aimed at university students and prospective sponsors, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. If a minor has sent us something through a form, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We are a registered student organization at the University of South Florida, not a company. See our Terms of Service as well.
